Found Dog # 998498 Date Found: Nov 12, 2008 Pet Name: Dog Breed: Alaskan Malamute Gender: Female Size: Extra Large (100+ lbs) Age: Older Color: Red & White Description: unknown sex(watching dog's behavior first)..appears blind or partially blind(dog does have naturally blue eyes) but has haze over eyes and may possibly be deaf as well..or may be just exhausted.Either weak from hunger or may have hip or balance issues but appears emaciated ... Thick red and white coat may hide a very thin dog..he or she could have been on the road a long time.nails trimmed or short. Has poss. superficial wounds to face (or hot spots? Rub marks from fence or? one spot could even be bullet wound..(.will check w vet asap.) This big handsome dog ate and drank tonight. Found dog just curled up on lawn up long driveway...definite mark where collar was. Seems very lost and sweet...strikingly handsome dog...needs TLC and his people to come and bring him home...My feeling is that this dog has been gone for weeks or even months from home.But may have other health issues or just be older.Please help this dog live out his days with his real family..or if that is not possible,then with one who will love and treasure him( or her)...I already have 5 rescue dogs and am handicapped.This dog needs a happy ending.
