| Description: |
Large Black Dog. This sweet and friendly Lab (and/or German Shepherd) mix loves tennis balls and attention, is well trained, understands basic commands (i.e. yes, no, in, out) and seems to prefer canned dog food. He also appears healthy (except for having fleas which we treated with Frontline) with a shiny coat and trimmed nails and has beautiful bright, but often sad eyes.
***Update*** After one week with my family we moved the dog to a foster family in Holly. Although he is a very sweet dog, he also required a lot of attention (walks, playing ball, etc) which my family, unfortunately, could not provide and the impact of losing his real family, along with not getting enough playtime from his rescue family, was clearly taking its toll on his happiness. Therefore, the dog (I wish I could call him by name, but he wasn't wearing any tags) is now in the home of a sincere dog-lover with two young kids who will take care of him, play with him, and treat him as their own until his original owners come calling; and if the original owners never do, then this sweet black dog will have a permanent home with this caring family of three. |
